“My desire is to create. From the time I was able to hold a pencil, I knew creating art would be my future. The traditional tools and techniques are the tools of my trade, as well as new ones that have come along. I embrace technology in art, and have included some digital drawings in my portfolio. Often, my method is to capture the human form, and use it to convey a message, a feeling during a point in time, or an emotion that can pull the viewer into that frame of mind. The challenge of metal makes you think more abstractly on how to create that message, and sometimes the message is the beauty of the art itself.”
